Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking entry-level and skilled Tree Trimmers/Climbers to join our team. This full-time, non-exempt role involves outdoor work in various weather conditions, trimming and removing trees to clear powerlines, with on‑the‑job training provided.

Responsibilities include operating chainsaws and bucket/ground equipment, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining equipment while ensuring public safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required; previous experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees by climbing with safety gear or from ground.
• Operate tools including chainsaws, gas-powered equipment, and hand tools.
• Load/unload trucks and transport materials to job site.
• Assist with scene setup, barriers, and customer communication as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and cooperate with other responders when needed.
