Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in West Virginia is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for full-time, non-exempt work outdoors. You will trim and remove trees, operate and service tools, load and unload trucks, and maintain safe, efficient work sites while protecting the public.

Education of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred; entry-level status with no prior experience required. Must be 18+, able to climb and work at heights, and pass pre-employment screenings as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
