Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Beckley, WV. This full-time, non-exempt position focuses on trimming and removing trees, operating and maintaining tools, and upholding safety on site. Ideal candidates are 18+, able to climb and work from ladders, with good hand-eye coordination and no fear of heights. A high school diploma is preferred; pre-employment screens may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.
• No fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into woodchipper.
• Maintains equipment and vehicles in good condition.
• Safely blocks areas and protects workers and the public.
• Assists in training new employees.
