Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber (DL Required) to trim, top, and reshape trees to clear utility powerlines. This full-time, non-exempt role involves operating tools, climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities include removing branches, feeding debris into chippers, maintaining equipment, and cooperating with customers and emergency services to ensure safe work zones. Valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights and good balance.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders and uneven surfaces in various weather.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Cut and split debris; feed debris into woodchipper.
• Maintain equipment and tools; ensure safe work areas.
• Relays signals and directs traffic; cooperate with customers and emergency services.
