Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, top, and shape trees for powerline clearance. This full-time, non-exempt role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will operate tools, climb safely, and support the crew. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to work in various conditions, and willingness to join the local union. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, on uneven and slippery surfaces, performing demanding work in varying weather conditions.
• Willing to join local union and pay dues.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Spray areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris into wood chipper.
• Maintain good housekeeping on trucks and work locations.
• Safeguard employees and public from hazards in and around work area.
