Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring entry-level and skilled Tree Trimmers and Climbers to join our outdoor crew. On-the-job training is provided and the work involves trimming, toping, and reshaping trees to clear powerlines.

Excellent benefits are offered; the team works in all weather and emphasizes safety and customer service while maintaining equipment and performing essential line clearance tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees by climbing with ladder, safety belt, climbing line, powered trimmer lift truck, or from ground using saws.
• Uses chainsaws to fell trees and cut logs; operates woodchipper as needed.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Plan, assign, direct, and coordinate work with crew.
• Promote and maintain good customer and public relations.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
