Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Blaine, MN is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, top, and shape trees to maintain clearance for utility powerlines while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

This full-time, non-exempt role includes weekly pay, health and retirement benefits, and company-provided tools. A driver’s license and physical ability to work at heights are required; union participation may be possible.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination required.
• Able to work from ladders at various heights in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into chipper.
• Maintains equipment and tool safety; reports repairs.
• Sets up barriers and directs traffic as needed.
• Assists training new employees.
