Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer/Climber to trim and remove trees, operate and service hand tools and equipment, and assist with job-site safety and traffic control. The role requires climbing, lifting, and working in various weather conditions while maintaining safe work practices.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, with hourly pay. Benefits vary by location, and union membership may be required depending on the position. Training and onboarding will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights on uneven surfaces in demanding weather.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.
• Willing to join local union and pay dues.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into wood chipper.
• Maintains safe work area and follows safety requirements.
• Directs traffic and sets up barriers as needed.
• Performs other related work as assigned.
