Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim and remove trees and branches, operate and service related equipment, and help maintain safe work sites. This is a full-time, non-exempt role requiring physical endurance and comfort with heights.

The job includes safety training, the opportunity to work with a skilled team, and potential to contribute to training new staff while upholding rigorous safety standards in varying environments.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina to work long hours outdoors in varying weather.
• Comfort with heights and climbing at different elevations.
• Ability to work well in a team on demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service tools and equipment used on the job.
• Cut and split debris and feed into a woodchipper when needed.
• Set up work zones, direct traffic, and maintain safety barriers.
• Assist in training new employees and perform routine tool maintenance.
