Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber to trim and remove trees and branches, operate and maintain tools and equipment, and help load and unload trucks. The role requires climbing, working from ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs under various weather conditions.

This full-time, non-exempt position offers union-based pay rates, and a benefits package with options varying by tenure and location. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be willing to join the local union.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while performing demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and splits debris into pieces for removal.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintains safe working area and protects employees and the public.
