Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Laurinburg, NC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim and remove trees, climb ladders, and operate equipment in outdoor settings.

This full-time, non-exempt, hourly position offers health insurance, retirement plan, EAP, and disability coverage, plus paid time off and training. You will follow safety procedures and coordinate with customers while maintaining tools and job sites.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Able to climb, walk on uneven surfaces and use ladders safely.
• No fear of heights and good hand‑eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Maintains tools, trucks, and work areas in good condition.
• Sets up barriers and safeguards for employees and the public.
