Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a dependable Trimmer/Climber in Charlotte, NC. The role involves trimming and removing trees, operating and maintaining equipment, and loading materials in all weather conditions.

Entry-level opportunity with physical requirements, height work, and driving expectations. Benefits include health coverage and retirement plans; drivers license preferred for some assignments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven surfaces while handling equipment.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, and operates trucks as needed.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
