Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for full-time, on-site work in North Wilkesboro, NC. The role involves trimming and removing trees, operating and servicing equipment, loading trucks, and maintaining safe work conditions in varying weather.

Candidates should be comfortable working at heights, possess good hand-eye coordination, and be able to pass pre-employment screenings. A driver license is preferred though not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.
• Driver's license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Spray areas with equipment to prevent growth.
• Load/unload trucks.
• Feed brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Repair minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Service gasoline, air, and hand-powered tools.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, and operates trucks.
• Keep trucks and work areas clean and organized.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards.
