Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a dedicated Trimmer/Climber in Charlottesville, VA to trim and remove trees, operate and maintain equipment, and ensure safety on job sites.

You will load and unload trucks, assist in training new employees, and cooperate with customers and emergency services as needed. A valid driver's license is preferred, with no fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work from ladders and at various heights.
• Physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Safeguards employees and the public; sets up barriers.
• Assists in training new employees.
• Performs other related work.

Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Entry-level position, no experience required
