Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Trimmer/Climber for a full-time, non-exempt role. You will trim and remove trees and branches, operate and service tools, and load/unload equipment on job sites with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The position requires physical stamina, comfort with heights, and the ability to work in varying weather. Driver's license preferred; entry-level candidates welcome with training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required; prior tree experience is a plus.
• Must be physically capable of climbing and working from ladders at heights.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cleans up debris and keeps work areas organized and safe.
• Relays signals, directs traffic, and cooperates with customers and authorities as needed.
• Assists in training new employees and maintains equipment in good condition.
