Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree trimming and removal operations in a field-based role. You will operate and service climbing and ground tools, load equipment, and follow safety protocols to protect teammates and the public.

The position requires physical stamina, the ability to work from ladders or at various heights, and the willingness to learn. A valid driver's license is required, and pre-employment screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment or material.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks and equipment, as assigned.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
