Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee in Wisconsin. This full-time, non-exempt role involves physically demanding work outdoors, trimming and removing trees and debris, operating equipment, and assisting in training new staff.

A valid driver’s license is preferred, and pre-employment screens may apply. Compensation is hourly and competitive, with a benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights, on uneven surfaces, under demanding weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Load/unload trucks and feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Relays hand signals and directs traffic as assigned.
• Maintains good housekeeping on trucks and work locations.
• Assists in training new employees.
