Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber / Bucket Operator with a valid CDL to join our team in Alabama. The role is full-time and non-exempt, with hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include trimming and removing trees, operating equipment, loading/unloading trucks, and ensuring safety for employees and the public. Pre-employment screening may be required; CDL preferred for the position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 8+ hours outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to climb and work from ladders or poles at various heights.
• CDL license preferred; pre-employment screening may apply.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees and branches safely.
• Operate and service required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split debris into manageable pieces.
• Use equipment to spray areas to prevent regrowth.
• Load and unload trucks; feed debris into woodchipper.
• Assist in training new employees and supervise as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping on trucks and at job sites.
• Ensure safety of employees and the public around work areas.
