Job summary

Asplundh Careers in Atmore, AL is seeking a Trimmer/Climber - Bucket Operator. This full-time, non-exempt role trims and removes trees, operates and services field equipment, loads and unloads trucks, and supports in guarding the work site.

Candidates must be able to climb, handle ladders, and work in variable weather; a valid driver's license is required. Training provided; competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.
• Previous experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways.
