Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Jasper, AL is seeking a Bucket Operator - Trimmer/Climber who holds a valid Driver's License to join our field crew. This full-time, non-exempt role offers hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will trim and remove trees, operate and maintain equipment, load materials, and help with safety and training of new employees. A HS diploma or equivalent is preferred and previous linework experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at heights, on uneven surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives and operates trucks.
• Maintains safety around work areas and cooperates with customers and authorities.
