Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for full-time, non-exempt outdoor work. You will trim and remove trees, operate tools, and manage debris while ensuring safety and efficiency across field sites.

Ideal candidates are 18+, comfortable working at heights, and able to learn equipment operation. Employee benefits include health coverage, retirement plan, and EAP; standard pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment or material.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job‑related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
