Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Denver, CO seeks a Trimmer Trainee. This entry-level, full-time position offers hands-on trimming and removal of trees, operating tools, and safety-focused tasks in outdoor environments. Training is provided as you perform essential tree care duties.

You will learn equipment operation, safety procedures, and correct loading/unloading of materials, with weekly pay and a benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights.
• Experience with tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service required tools and equipment.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris into a woodchipper.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and protect workers and the public.
• Assist in training new employees and perform other duties as assigned.
