Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee to perform outdoor tree trimming under supervision. The role involves operating tools, handling debris, and maintaining equipment in variable weather conditions.

You will learn safety practices, teamwork, and proper use of ropes, saws, and chippers while supporting crew operations. Entry-level position with opportunities for hands-on training, advancement, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb ladders, and work at various heights in demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools and equipment.
• Cuts, splits debris, and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Relays signals, directs traffic, and drives trucks as needed.
• Maintains clean, safe trucks and work areas.
• Assists in training new employees and inspects tools and equipment.
