Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks an entry-level Trimmer Trainee to assist in trimming and removing trees and debris, with on-the-job training provided. This full-time, non-exempt role offers outdoor work in the field, opportunities to learn tree care, and a pathway to skilled climbing tasks.

Ideal candidates are at least 18, able to handle physically demanding work, and willing to learn and follow safety protocols in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights in adverse weather.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush and debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
