Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to join our field crew in a full-time, non-exempt role. You will trim and remove trees, operate and service trimming equipment, load and unload materials, and assist with road safety while working in potentially hazardous conditions.

The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork. A pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR review may be required. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment or material.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Load/unload trucks and feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, and operates trucks as assigned.
• Maintain good housekeeping on trucks and at work locations.
