Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Pittsboro, NC is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment and remove branches and tree material from electrical lines. You will plan, coordinate, and execute tasks to support crew operations while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires the ability to identify tree species, follow safety procedures around electrical hazards, and communicate with customers about access and work to be performed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work.
• Operates and services equipment (gasoline tools, power saws, sprayers, chipper, etc.).
• Cleans up and disposes of debris and maintains safety standards.
• Trains new personnel and ensures production quality and safety.
