Job summary

Wright Tree Service in Minnesota is seeking a Crew Leader to coach a tree care crew and ensure safe, efficient production. You will allocate tasks, identify hazards, and coordinate with property owners to gain access for trimming, removal and chemical applications.

The role requires strong leadership, arboriculture knowledge, and adherence to OSHA and ANSI standards. Expect travel to job sites, occasional overtime, and a focus on safety and customer relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience on tree trimming or clearing crews or successful skills assessments.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must have First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to company policies, safety practices, OSHA regulations, and customer requirements.
• Coach and assign tasks to crew; monitor work progress and safety.
• Operate herbicide application to treat stumps and brush; maintain records.
• Coordinate access with property owners and communicate work scope and interruptions.
• Set up traffic control and signage to protect crew and public; inspect vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections and maintenance.
