Job summary

SavATree LLC is seeking a Tree Climber for our General Tree Care Team. You will perform pruning, removals, and cabling on trees and shrubs, using ropes, ladders, and safety gear to deliver top-quality care.

You’ll work with chainsaws and aerial lifts, following ANSI pruning standards and safety guidelines to protect clients’ landscapes and crew safety. This role offers growth into Crew Lead with leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL preferred).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. to perform field duties outdoors.
• Demonstrated passion for outdoor work and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality tree care services, including pruning, removals, and cabling for trees and shrubs.
• Climb trees safely using ropes, saddle, and ladders.
• Operate chainsaws, bucket trucks, and other equipment effectively.
• Apply ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and ANSI Z safety practices.
• Ensure proper pruning cuts and preserve tree health and structure.
• Assist in tree removals with ropes, spikes, and safe takedowns.
• Identify hazards and perform safety checks before, during, and after each job.
• Perform aerial rescues if necessary and maintain safety in high-risk situations.
• Maintain strong communication with team members and clients for safe service.
