Job summary

SavATree is hiring a Crew Lead Tree Climber to join our General Tree Care Team. You will perform pruning, removals, and cabling on a variety of trees, climbing safely and using ropes, saddles, and ladders to protect property and people.

In this role you will operate chainsaws, lift bucket trucks, and apply ANSI pruning standards with a strong emphasis on safety. Leadership responsibilities are available for those who demonstrate team guidance abilities.

Qualifications

• Must have valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL a plus).
• Authorized to work legally in the U.S.
• Passion for outdoor work and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Perform pruning, removals, and cabling for trees and shrubs.
• Climb trees safely using proper techniques, ropes, saddle, and ladders.
• Operate chainsaws and aerial lifts effectively.
• Apply pruning standards and safety practices in all tasks.
• Identify hazards and perform safety checks before, during, and after each job.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and clients.
