Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Crew Leader in Pennsylvania to supervise and coach a tree-care crew on production goals while ensuring safety and OSHA compliance. The role involves task allocation, hazard identification, and coordination with the General Foreperson to prioritize work.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in tree trimming or clearance, with First-Aid/CPR, and a valid driver’s license; bilingual English/Spanish helpful for field communications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience on tree trimming or clearing crews
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Must have valid First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and DOT medical card (where required)
• English and Spanish language skills read, write, and speak

Responsibilities

• Coaches employees on company policies, on-the-job safety and OSHA regulations.
• Assists with safety training, pre-job briefings, and crew assignments.
• Uses herbicide equipment to treat stumps and brush; maintains application records.
• Maintains production records: timesheets, work orders, units, manhours and costs.
• Sets up warning signs, barriers, and traffic control to protect workers and the public.
• Performs tree trimming, removal, or felling using climbing and ground tools.
• Escalates issues to the General Foreperson promptly and cooperates with customers.
