Job summary

Wright Tree Service seeks a Crew Leader to guide a tree-trimming crew on project sites, ensuring safety, compliance with OSHA, and efficient task allocation. You will coach crew members, interpret maps and electrical diagrams, and maintain strong customer relations.

The role requires knowledge of ANSI tree care standards, ability to work extended hours, and readiness for emergency response. Field leadership with hands-on supervision is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience on tree trimming or clearing crews.
• Must have CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Valid driver's license; DOT medical card preferred depending on division.
• English and Spanish language skills (read, write, speak).

Responsibilities

• Coach crew on safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Assign daily tasks, coordinate work, and monitor progress on site.
• Operate and maintain herbicide application and tree-care equipment.
• Inspect vehicles, equipment, and tools; report maintenance needs.
• Interact with customers and property owners to minimize disruption.
