Job summary

Townsend Company, LLC is seeking a Foreperson responsible for coordinating daily tree crew operations and providing leadership in the field. You will oversee scheduled jobs, communicate with the General Foreperson, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

The role requires hands-on experience with tree care equipment and strong safety awareness, with potential DOT screening and a valid CDL if applicable. This position is based on-site with standard crew supervision duties.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing a tree crew
• Experience with tree care equipment and operations
• Ability to pass a DOT physical if required
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Meet physical requirements and pass screenings

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work for the crew and plan tasks
• Assign tasks and direct crews on site
• Enforce safe work practices per policy and OSHA
• Maintain records, timesheets, and crew reports
• Inspect tools, trucks, and equipment and arrange repairs
• Provide field training and onboarding for crew members
• Flexibility as duties may change with notice
