Job summary

The Townsend Company, LLC seeks a General Foreperson to lead tree crews, plan schedules, and coordinate field operations. You will enforce safety policies, supervise staff, and interface with customers to ensure quality work.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years related experience, 2+ years in a supervisory role, and a valid DOT medical certification; CDL Class B and herbicide license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of directly related experience.
• Two or more years in a group lead/supervisory role.
• Knowledge of industry hazards, standards, practices, procedures, and techniques.
• Valid DOT medical certification or ability to obtain.
• CDL class B minimum preferred; herbicide applicator license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise tree crews, plan schedules, and assign work.
• Coordinate operations and ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Monitor safety, enforce company policies, and conduct hazard assessments.
• Interface with customers and resolve concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain records and report progress to supervisor and office.
