Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber in Training to join our General Tree Care Team in Minnesota. You’ll work outdoors, assist with climbing and pruning duties, and contribute to delivering high-quality tree care for clients’ landscapes while following safety procedures.

You will gain hands-on experience, training, and opportunities to advance within the arboriculture industry as you develop climbing skills, pruning techniques, and knowledge of tree species.

Qualifications

• Desire to work outdoors in a physically active role.
• Possession of a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in tree climbing, pruning techniques, identifying tree/shrub species, tree care safety standards, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a crew to provide high-quality tree care, including pruning, removals, and cable bracing.
• Safely operate climbing gear, chainsaws, and other equipment.
• Apply proper pruning techniques and tree care practices.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
• Deliver excellent service to clients while maintaining professional standards.
