Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber in Training on our General Tree Care Team. You will work outdoors on client properties, performing climbing and pruning duties using safe techniques to preserve and enhance landscapes.

As part of a crew, you’ll learn and apply pruning methods, operate climbing gear and equipment, and uphold safety and quality standards while delivering excellent service to clients.

Qualifications

• Must be motivated to work outdoors and physically active.
• Willingness to develop climbing and pruning skills.
• Requires a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in high-quality tree care including pruning, removals, and cable bracing.
• Safely operate climbing gear and chainsaws.
• Apply proper pruning techniques and tree care practices.
• Follow safety procedures at all times and maintain professional standards.
• Deliver excellent service to clients while upholding SavATree values.
