Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber to join our General Tree Care Team in Minnesota. You will climb, prune, and care for client landscapes, using proper practices and safety standards to deliver high-quality service.

You will operate chainsaws, bucket trucks, and related equipment as part of a collaborative team, visiting properties in your community. This role emphasizes safety, skill development, and landscape preservation.

Qualifications

• Experience with pruning large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree/shrub species.
• Ability to climb without spurs.
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards.
• Hands-on experience with chainsaws and related equipment.
• Experience operating aerial lifts (bucket trucks).

Responsibilities

• Climb and prune large shade trees and ornamentals using proper practices.
• Perform removals, cable bracing, and other tree care techniques.
• Safely operate chainsaws, equipment, and aerial lifts (bucket trucks).
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality service.
• Apply industry safety standards in all aspects of tree care.
