SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber in New York to join our General Tree Care Team. You will perform pruning, removals, and cabling for trees and shrubs, and climb safely using ropes, saddles, and ladders. You may progress to Crew Lead with additional leadership responsibilities.

The role emphasizes safety, quality care, and collaboration with a highly trained team. Compensation starts at $30/hr with comprehensive benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license and working authorization.
• Willingness to work outdoors and environmental stewardship.
• Experience with pruning, climbing, and using tree care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pruning, removals, and cabling for trees and shrubs.
• Climb trees safely using ropes, saddle, and ladders.
• Operate chainsaws and aerial lifts.
• Follow ANSI A300 pruning standards and safety practices.
• Ensure proper pruning cuts preserving tree health.
• Maintain strong communication with team and clients.
