SavATree in Nashville is seeking a Crew Lead Tree Climber to join our General Tree Care Team. You will perform pruning, removals, and cabling on trees and shrubs, climbing with ropes and ladders while applying safety standards.

The role emphasizes leadership potential, guiding a team of climbers and delivering high-quality service in outdoor environments. A valid U.S. driver’s license and readiness to work outdoors are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license; CDL a plus.
• Authorization to work legally in the U.S. is required.
• Demonstrated passion for the outdoors and environmental stewardship.
• Experience with safe climbing and tree care practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality tree care services: pruning, removals, cabling.
• Climb trees safely using ropes, saddle, and ladders.
• Operate chainsaws, bucket trucks, and other equipment effectively.
• Apply ANSI A300 pruning standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain safe pruning cuts and preserve tree health and structure.
• Assist in removals using ropes and safety gear; conduct hazard checks.
• Perform aerial rescues when needed and ensure client safety.
• Communicate clearly with team and clients; uphold safety culture.
• Take ownership of responsibilities and contribute to team success
