Job Title: Tree Climber

Location: Sellersville, PA

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Tree Climber to join our team. As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for safely climbing trees to prune, trim, and remove branches, or sometimes entire trees. You’ll work closely with a team of ground crew members to ensure each job is completed efficiently and to the customer’s satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely climb trees using appropriate techniques and equipment (ropes, harnesses, etc.)
2. Prune, trim, and remove branches or entire trees as needed
3. Operate chainsaws, hand saws, and other equipment
4. Inspect trees for disease, pests, and structural integrity issues
5. Ensure all work follows safety guidelines and arboriculture best practices
6. Work with ground crew to ensure the safe and efficient removal of debris
7. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide professional recommendations

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a tree climber or in a similar role
2. Knowledge of tree care techniques and equipment
3. Familiarity with the use of chainsaws, ropes, and rigging
4. Strong attention to safety protocols and best practices
5. Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
6. ISA Certified Arborist or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
7. Physical fitness and stamina to climb and lift heavy equipment
8. Valid driver’s license is required.
