Joshua Tree Experts, Pittsburgh's leading tree care, lawn care, and pest control provider, is seeking an experienced Tree Climber.

As a Tree Climber with Joshua Tree, you will work with a 2 to 4-person tree crew, assisting in tree removal, pruning, and preservation techniques. This role is crucial for safe tree operations, equipment maintenance, and effective communication with the crew and clients near the work site.

We are committed to enhancing our team members' skills and knowledge. Therefore, Joshua Tree offers paid training to ensure Tree Climbers stay updated on industry technology and techniques.

Responsibilities of a Tree Climber include:

• Effective communication with crew leader and coworkers
• Maintaining a professional image
• Providing excellent customer service
• Delegating work to Groundman Operations Specialists
• Maintaining vehicle and equipment
• Adhering to company safety standards
• Following ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations
• Working at least 40 hours per week
• Understanding aerial lift operations

Qualifications for a Tree Climber:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of tree climbing experience
• Valid driver’s license

Ideal candidates may also have:

• Forestry or Horticulture Degree
• ISA Certified Arborist
