Compensation and Benefits: This position offers $22 - $30 per hour depending on experience, along with paid PTO, benefits, and a 401K plan.

The General Tree Care Team is the backbone of our operations, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality tree care that maintains the health of our clients' landscapes.

As a Tree Climber, you will work outdoors on beautiful properties, applying your climbing, pruning, and safety skills to support landscape health.

Daily Responsibilities

• Work with the Tree Care crew to perform pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other tree care tasks.
• Operate equipment safely and provide excellent service to clients.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience with proper pruning of large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species.
• Climb without spurs.
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards.
• Practical experience with chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket trucks).
• Understanding of safety policies, hazard identification, and proper pruning techniques.
• Ability to utilize climbing equipment and tools competently.

Essential Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year minimum tree climbing experience.
• Desire to work outdoors.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; CDL A/B is a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
