Job Summary: The General Tree Care Team is essential to our operations, focusing on high-quality tree care to maintain and enhance our clients' landscapes. The Crew Lead role is a specialized position for individuals demonstrating leadership and approved by local management to direct work crews.

Compensation includes: $30/hr and up based on experience, paid PTO, benefits, and 401K.

Role Overview

As a Crew Lead and Tree Climber, you'll work outdoors on beautiful properties, applying expertise in climbing, pruning, and safety to support landscape health.

Responsibilities

1. Work with the General Tree Care crew to deliver high-quality services including pruning, removals, and cable bracing.
2. Operate equipment safely and provide excellent customer service.

Candidate Profile

• Experience with pruning large shade and ornamental trees.
• Knowledge of native and introduced tree/shrub species.
• Ability to climb without spurs; experience with chainsaws, aerial lifts, and safety standards.
• Capable of using climbing gear and performing safe pruning and removal techniques.
• Understanding of safety policies, hazard identification, and tree species-specific techniques.

Essential Requirements

• Desire to work outdoors.
• Valid U.S. driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
