Job summary

Keystone Arborist in York, PA is seeking an Arborist Sales Representative who thrives outside the office, meets homeowners and commercial clients, and delivers fast, accurate estimates.

You will generate leads, assess properties, present removal and pruning options, and coordinate with crews to ensure jobs are booked and finished to high standards. ISA certification encouraged; sales excellence and strong communication are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales or estimating experience (tree care, landscaping, or home services preferred)
• Working knowledge of tree care, or willingness to learn and pursue ISA certification
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated and organized, able to manage a territory and schedule independently
• Comfort with CRM and estimating software, smartphones, and basic office tools
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to walk properties in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Generate leads through networking, referrals, and local outreach
• Meet with residential and commercial clients to assess tree removal needs
• Prepare and present estimates for tree cutting, trimming, and removal services
• Close sales and maintain strong client relationships
• Inspect properties to evaluate tree condition, risk, and accessibility
• Identify hazards (power lines, structures, terrain, etc.)
• Accurately define scope of work and pricing
• Coordinate scheduling with operations and clients
• Serve as the main point of contact from estimate through job completion
• Ensure clear communication between client and crew
• Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure customer satisfaction
• Handle change orders, concerns, or adjustments professionally
• Follow up for reviews, referrals, and repeat business
