Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Concord, NC is seeking a full-time Tree Care Worker to join our field crew. You will assist with pruning, trimming, and tree removal while following safety protocols and using common arborist tools.

Responsibilities include operating chain saws and other equipment safely, disposing of debris, and communicating clearly with teammates and clients to ensure smooth, professional service at every job site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical repair is a plus.
• Previous experience in landscaping, arboriculture, or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Always follow and help enforce safe practices and rules.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE usage and training.
• Provide direct assistance to the crew during tree care operations.
• Operate gas-powered chain saws, pole saws, and brush chippers safely.
• Assist in the removal and disposal of tree debris.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members.
• Interact professionally with clients and property owners.
