Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services seek a Groundsperson in Concord, NC to support residential and commercial tree care. You will assist the crew, operate equipment safely, and help maintain job-sites with clean, orderly removal of debris.

The role requires a HS diploma, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to follow strict safety protocols. CDL is preferred but not required, with health insurance and 401K benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in landscaping/arboriculture preferred but not required.
• CDL Preferred but not required.
• Must possess and maintain a Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce safety practices and rules.
• Adhere to PPE and safety protocols; participate in safety training.
• Assist crew during tree care operations: pruning, trimming, tree removal.
• Operate gas-powered chain saws, pole saws, and brush chippers safely.
• Assist in removal and disposal of tree debris and wood chips.
• Maintain clear communication with the team for efficient workflow.
• Interact professionally with clients and property owners.
