Job summary

BrightView in Florida is seeking a Crew Leader Tree Care to supervise daily tree care operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service. The role provides hands-on leadership in pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and tree removals, while guiding crew members, maintaining equipment, and upholding safety standards.

The position requires 3 years’ experience in tree care, a CDL Class B, supervisory experience, bilingual Spanish, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in tree care services.
• CDL Class B required.
• Experience managing a crew of climbers and groundsmen.
• Ability to certify EHAP, First-Aid, and CPR.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the tree care service activities of the crew.
• Ensure crew safety materials and training are in place.
• Mark work areas to protect the public from debris.
• Inspect climbing gear and equipment for safe operation.
• Review and manage crew schedules.
• Complete daily pre-trip inspection reports for Class B equipment.
• Coordinate with branch management, customers, and employees.
• Safely operate tree and landscaping tools and heavy equipment as needed.
• Apply proper pruning techniques and dispose of debris.
