Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Crew Leader Tree Care in Ventura, CA to lead daily tree care operations with hands-on pruning, cabling, bracing, and removals. You will guide crew members, maintain equipment, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

The role requires 3 years in tree care, a CDL Class B license, and supervisory experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus for coordinating with a diverse team and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in tree care or landscape services.
• CDL Class B license required.
• Experience supervising a crew of climbers and grounds staff.
• EHAP, First-Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish and English helpful.

Responsibilities

• Supervise tree care crew and daily operations.
• Ensure safety materials, training, and safe work practices.
• Mark work areas to protect the public from debris.
• Inspect climbing gear and maintain tools in safe condition.
• Manage crew schedules and pre-trip inspection reports.
• Coordinate with management, customers, and employees.
• Operate tree care and landscaping equipment as needed.
• Assist with pruning, trimming, and debris disposal.
