Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Crew Lead to join our General Tree Care Team. You will work outdoors on client landscapes, performing pruning, removals, cable bracing, and related tasks with a focus on safety and quality.

Lead a crew, coordinate activities, and ensure adherence to safety policies while delivering high-quality tree care services. Training and development opportunities are provided to advance expertise in arboriculture.

Qualifications

• Experience with pruning large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Identify native and introduced tree species and know their characteristics.
• Climb without spurs and use proper climbing techniques.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Operates chainsaw and related equipment.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).
• Demonstrates strong safety policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of branch collars and pruning cuts.

Responsibilities

• Prune, remove, cable brace and perform related tree care tasks for clients.
• Safely operate all equipment and perform assigned tasks while providing great customer service.
• Lead a work crew with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Identify tree species and apply appropriate pruning techniques.
• Follow ANSI pruning standards and safety guidelines.
