Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Crew Leader Tree Care in The Woodlands, TX to oversee daily tree care operations, including pruning, cabling, bracing, and removals. This role leads crew members, maintains equipment, and upholds BrightView safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3 years in tree care, a CDL B, and supervisory experience, with ability to certify in EHAP, First-Aid, and CPR. Outdoor work with heavy equipment and diverse weather is routine.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in tree care services.
• Knowledge of pruning, cabling, bracing, and removals.
• CDL B license and safety certifications preferred.
• Experience managing a crew of climbers and grounds men.
• Ability to become EHAP, First-Aid, and CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the tree care service activities of the crew.
• Ensure crew safety materials and training are up to date.
• Mark work areas to protect the public from debris.
• Inspect climbing gear and equipment for safe operation.
• Review and manage crew schedules.
• Complete daily pre-trip inspection reports for Class B equipment.
• Coordinate with branch management, customers, and employees.
• Safely operate tree and landscaping tools and heavy equipment.
• Assist with trimming, debris disposal.
