Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Crew Leader Tree Care in The Woodlands, TX. The role oversees daily tree care operations, provides hands-on leadership in pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and tree removals, and guides crew members while maintaining equipment and safety standards.

The position requires 3 years of tree care experience, CDL Class B, supervisory experience, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in tree care services.
• Ability to manage a crew including climbers and grounds personnel.
• Experience with EHAP, First-Aid, and CPR certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the tree care service activities of the crew.
• Ensure crew safety materials and training are in place.
• Mark work areas to protect the public from debris.
• Inspect climbing gear and tools for safety and maintenance.
• Review and manage crew schedules.
• Complete daily pre-trip inspection reports for Class B equipment.
• Coordinate with branch management, customers, and employees.
• Operate tree and landscaping tools and heavy equipment safely.
• Assist with pruning, trimming, debris disposal, and project clean-up.
